Stress, obesity, baldness… Tackle any parallel world people’s health problems with a delish! A nutritionist, Asayama Touya suddenly got sent to another world together with his little sister one day. After that, he ended up in a restaurant called "Healthy Kitchen", and found out that "all healthy food" tastes bad in that world... "A tasty, yet healthy food is just a pure fantasy." That's what most people in Miliasky thought in the country where a Nutritionist, Asayama Touya found himself to be transported into. Even though he was lucky enough to be sent into a world with good public order, and didn't have any trouble procuring any ingredients nor cooking tools. Since science research didn't really advance well there, the concept of "Nutritional Balance" wasn't really well received there, which in turn made them think that it's normal to eat whatever they like. But then, he stumbled across a restaurant called "Healthy Kitchen", the only place that seems to serve "food that's supposed to make you healthier," in a world with such a loose view of nutritional balance. However, what was actually served to Touya, who anticipated some awe-inspiring another world food, was something that is far from what he expected... With his Nutritionist Knowledge as his weapon, will this ex-office worker be able to turn around the entire norm in the other world!?

Walt Kelly started his career at age 13 in Connecticut as a cartoonist and reporter for the Bridgeport Post. In 1935, he moved to Los Angeles and joined the Walt Disney Studio, where he worked on classic animated films, including Pinocchio, Dumbo, and Fantasia. Rather than take sides in a bitter labor strike, he moved back east in 1941 and began drawing comic books. It was during this time that Kelly created Pogo Possum. The character first appeared in Animal Comics as a secondary player in the Albert the Alligator feature. It didnt take long until Pogo became the comics leading character. After WWII, Kelly became artistic director at the New York Star, where he turned Pogo into a daily strip. By late 1949, Pogo appeared in hundreds of newspapers. Until his death in 1973, Kelly produced a feature that has become widely cherished among casual readers and aficionados alike. Kelly blended nonsense language, poetry, and political and social satire to make Pogo an essential contribution to American intellectual comics. As the strip progressed, it became a hilarious platform for Kellys scathing political views in which he skewered national bogeymen like J. Edgar Hoover, Joseph McCarthy, George Wallace, and Richard Nixon. Walt Kelly started when newspaper strips shied away from politics — Pogo was ahead of its time and ahead of later strips (such as Doonesbury and The Boondocks) that tackled political issues. Our first (of 12) volume reprints approximately the first two years of Pogo — dailies and (for the first time) full-color Sundays. This first volume also introduces such enduring supporting characters as Porkypine, Churchy LaFemme, Beauregard Bugleboy, Seminole Sam, Howland Owl, and many others. And for Christmas, 1949, Kelly started his tradition of regaling his readers with his infamously and gloriously mangled Christmas carols. Special features in this sumptuous premiere volume, which is produced with the full cooperation of Kellys heirs, include a biographical introduction by Kelly biographer Steve Thompson, an extensive section by comics historian R.C. Harvey explaining some of the more obscure current references of the time (read an unexpurgated version here), a foreword by legendary columnist Jimmy Breslin, and more.

According to AoiTsukiReviewer at www.mangaupdates.com, this is an enjoyable, intricate and beautifully crafted manga with nice ambience and enjoyable characters. The story revolves around a "older" (probably mid-20s but a mature type) woman named Alice who returns to live in the countryside after her grandma's death. She re-opens the traditional irori, a traditional Japanese open hearth. She reunites with her childhood friend and the manga follows the two (as well as people around them). The characters have a good dynamic and are well matched. They are also NOT dense when it comes to love, they do pick things up rather fast, and they don't sit on them which is refreshing. Art style is beautiful, soft and detailed. A lot of thought goes not only in drawing the characters but also in "background"; the room and items. This is a good example of a "classical", well drawn manga, not an epic manga like the more known ones, but rather that type of quiet, ambiental, beautifully drawn manga that's soothing but not boring, mature but not heavy, and light while not cheap.
Plot: Kinasuki Shin is a delinquent who always seems to get into trouble- but his martial arts skills usually save him from getting hurt during fights. One day, as he was being threatened by a group of gangsters, supermodel Takami Ukon sees him and is impressed by Shin's superiority in fighting against the gangsters. As fate would have it, Ukon discovers how Shin's bad luck has landed him in a huge debt involving an imported car. Shin's only option is to repay the money via monthly installments by finding a part-time job. Ukon meets Shin at school the following day and proceeds to explain that he saw the whole incident by accident, but promises not to tell anyone. He then offers Shin a job as his bodyguard. The initially skeptical Shin is later enticed by the high wages and signs a contract with Ukon.Ukon transfers to Meikyo High School ends up in the same class as Shin. Whenever both of them are together, they become involved in more trouble than either would have been in if he were alone. Eventually Shin confesses to Ukon that he seems to 'attract disaster and bad luck'. To his amazement, Ukon admits that he has the same problem.Predictably, the duo become quite popular at school; beautiful but wild Shin and handsome supermodel Ukon. Even so, no one knows about the fact that Shin is Ukon's bodyguard, as it was agreed that the matter should be kept confidential because Shin could not bear to let Houshou senpai (his benefactor) worry about his huge debt. What will become with the two of them as they go through high-school life together? Many new characters appear as the story progresses, and the ensuing drama and hilarity make this manga well worth a read for any BL fan.
