Gyeongseong, 1920 - Early colonial Korea. When a boy of Japanese descent is found dead at a local school's lantern festival, many people blame Kim Mugyeong. Despite much pressure, Mugyeong refused to talk, forcing officers to look elsewhere for information. What secrets are these two children hiding, and why does Mugyeong refuse to talk? In the midst of tumultuous social and political conflicts, the younger generation is just trying to survive.
