After surviving World War I, Gary, a liquor-loving ex-serviceman, finally makes his way home. To his shock, Prohibition has post-war America in a chokehold! The curtains open on Gary's action-packed quest for a sweet, shining glass of booze!

The story follows a 2 year time skip after the events of the World of Light, Galeem, the God of Light with his powerful angelic motifs and Dharkon, the God of Darkness with his were defeated by the legendary 81 fighters saving all the captured spirits and saving the world once again. Peace has finally returned to the world of Smash until the spirits of Galeem and Dharkon were left alive and together, they fused into a more powerful entity known as “Firion”. Another 2 years have passed and Master Hand, a hand-like entity along with his twin brother Crazy Hand began reconstruction of the new Smash world for the next tournament and allowing the spirits to roam free in peace thus named "WORLD OF WARRIORS" until Firion takes control of the hands, resurrect almost all of the villains of the Nintendo Multiverse and send them to recapture those spirits. Now Mario, Pit, and the returning veterans of Smash along with the new generation of fighters must once again reunite, travel through various places around the world, protect the spirits before they go into the wrong hands and stop the forces of evil from obtaining them again.

The story takes place in April of 1980, in Waco, Texas. It follows a rambunctious young girl named Debbie. Debbie's mother passed away before she was old enough to remember her, and two years ago her father remarried to a woman with a son named Kianu and a daughter. Her mother treats her poorly, her father ignores her, her brother harasses her, and her sister looks up to her. The only person she's able to talk to is Father Tran, a priest who had been friends with her father in the past and in love with her mother. (Mangatraders)

Ami Satou works for Cobara, a company that specializes in sweets. While she may be good at sales, her confidence in pretty much everything else is low, which is why she hasn't even thought about dating since college. Instead, she fills up her imagination with romantic scenes from shoujo manga. When she meets Alain Giraud, a handsome, older French man in charge of a new project she's assigned to work on, she begins to struggle to keep that romantic imagination in check... especially with Alain being so overly friendly! Ami keeps reminding herself that it's just because he's French, but will she be able to resist his romantic charm?
