Akira is an ordinary high school student who dreams of becoming a mangaka.
When his family moves from Korea to Japan, he suddenly finds himself in a new country, a new school, and a life that feels completely foreign.
Quiet and introverted, Akira never had many friends — and things only get more complicated when his parents leave for a long business trip, putting him under the care of Hiroshi, an old friend of his father.
From the very first moment, Akira dislikes him.
Hiroshi is cold, expressionless, and seems to find fault in everything Akira does. Even the sound of his footsteps can make Hiroshi snap, threatening to throw him out for being “too loud.”
But as the days pass, Akira starts to notice that there’s something behind that emotionless stare — something broken, something lonely… and something that pulls him in against his will.
