His loyal servants have guarded his secrets closely, but when someone new enters the household, they begin to question this self-inflicted isolation. Meanwhile, a wicked web looms large, beckoning Romeo to it. Will these threats thrust him back onto the public stage and bring dark truths to light?

Large mysterious alien ships have been looming above Japanese towns for three years, filling the sky. Everything changed three years ago. And yet, nothing has changed. No weapon used against the invaders' ships had any success, beyond destroying part of Japan and leaving its economy in shambles. JSDF is fighting a guerrilla battle against the aliens all over Japan. America is joining the 'war' effort with more aggressive tactics, dividing Japan over the pacifist principle laid out in Article 9 of the Japanese constitution. Meiko Inoue is a recent college grad working as an office lady in a job she hates. Her boyfriend Naruo is permanently crashing at her apartment because his job as a freelance illustrator doesn’t pay enough for rent. And her parents in the country keep sending her boxes of veggies that just rot in her fridge. Straddling the line between her years as a student and the rest of her life, Meiko struggles with the feeling that she's just not cut out to be a part of the real world.

The story takes place in Japan, right now, where the Coronavirus has completely changed our way of life. In the house of a young man, his childhood friend who lost his job due to the Coronavirus moves in. However, this childhood friend is a scumbag... The story depicts the depressing feeling of not knowing how long the coronavirus will last, and the rotten relationship between the two young men.
