In a world where humans and non-humans with animal forms fall in love regardless of gender or species, college student Kayu was an outlier: he could only fall in love with plants. Yet, for some reason, his heart would start racing around Chin, the panda who owns the flower cafe where Kayu works part-time. After learning this, Chin asked if he wanted to try dating platonically on a trial basis. He may not feel desire for his kind-of boyfriend, but Kayu is enjoying the warm, peaceful days they share... except that whenever he sleeps over at Chin's apartment, he has this weird dream about countless vines and tentacles crawling all over his body and having their way with him...!
