The sequel to Konjiki no Gash!!, aka Zatch Bell. Once the battle to decide the king of the demon world, in which 100 demon children fought against each other, had come to an end… the king of the demon world was crowned, and the demon world lived out the rest of its days in peace. Or at least, that's how it was supposed to be. Now, a shocking fact about the current state of the demon world comes to light. Konatsu Amano é uma garota do ensino médio que acaba de se mudar para uma cidade litorânea na província de Ehime depois que seu pai é transferido para o exterior a trabalho. Solitária e insegura de seu novo ambiente, Konatsu encontra-se gravitando em direção a Koyuki Honami, uma garota mais velha em sua escola que é popular, mas é vista como fora do alcance de seus colegas que a vêem como perfeita demais. Koyuki também é o único membro do Aquarium Club, que por sua vez faz com que ela se sinta isolada dos outros. Em uma tentativa de ajudar a aliviar os sentimentos de solidão de Koyuki, Konatsu se torna amiga de Koyuki e as duas gradualmente se aproximam.
